Not another blog...
...but this site sounded interesting. Blogs to private audiences? Lots of themes? Easy integration with lots of other tools? Hmmm... I like the choices of who can comment on the posts. I also like that you can set certain blog posts to various levels of transparency easily. Pretty easy to set up a social network around the site. Nice WYSIWYG editor. I like it so far. We'll see.

My class is reading your book, Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts... in my Technology for the School Library course at Simmons College in Boston. Thanks for your empowering attitude and enthusiasm for the work you do. I read your post on Weblogg-ed (from Bloglines, of course!) and thought I'd send a comment your way.
We learned about Vox in class a couple of weeks ago and it appealed to my aesthetic sensibility so I set up a blog called Beemused. I assumed comments could be made by anyone if I set my posting for public comment, but have found that Vox asks users to sign up/sign in to post comments. I am surprised by this, as it seems against the original purpose of the blog. Have you run into this issue at all?
Yours in the blogosphere,
Melissa B.
